Application
(1) Intermediate of coating catalyst, 2-Ethylhexanoic Acid compounded with various metals to form metal salt of isooctanoate.
(2) 2-Ethylhexanoic Acid is used as catalyst for unsaturated polyester resin, modifier of alkyd resin, production of peroxide as catalyst for polymerization reaction, as well as stabilizer for lubricating grease and PVC.
(3) In chemical auxiliary field, 2-Ethylhexanoic is used as metal lubricant, oil auxiliary agent.
(4) 2-Ethylhexanoic can also be used as thickener, raw materials for ampicillin and carbenicillin.
